Aircraft Twirls Out of Control into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Coast
A chopper hovering over a popular southern California beach suddenly began spiraling wildly, ultimately dropping height and crashing into a row of palm groves as onlookers watched.
Videos posted on the internet show the helicopter beginning to twirl near Huntington Beach then falling towards the perimeter of the beach, where it ends up lodged amidst palm trees and a set of stairs near the coastal road.

Local firefighters stated five people were rushed to the hospital involving two who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the incident on the weekend.
Three persons on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.

Authorities indicated the aircraft was associated with an annual “Cars and Copters” fundraising event scheduled for Sunday.
